I don't see any mention of GSM vs. CDMA vs. iDEN. My understanding is that the Boost service is through iDEN, and so it isn't going to work with the iPhone or any other random multi-band GSM phone. -- 02:19, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Good catch! I have changed the guidelines to only allow GSM/UMTS/etc for now, simply stating that if it works with the iPhone it's ok. I don't know if there is a need out there for CDMA / iDEN providers? Are there a lot of Android CDMA phones? Joskarsson 13:06, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

DroidX, Droid are Android CDMA - basically anything on Verizon (and I think Sprint also) --Shahid 12:49, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, I will leave it up to the users if they want to see CDMA providers in there. If they reapperar we'll have make the necessary adjustments to make sure all providers are marked with what types of phones they support. Joskarsson 13:06, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

There's an excellent t-mobile solution in the USA that's a month-to-month contract. Would that be worth including here? --Shahid 12:49, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

As long as a tourist without an address, credit check etc can just walk into the shop and pick one up I think it's worth including. Joskarsson 13:06, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Dammit - prolly not without an address. Here was the plan, anyway - it's month to month, $60 for unlimited web, so good for peeps on an extended (1-2 month) stay. --Shahid 18:19, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
